Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Overview
This policy explains what Wordflip inc ("Wordflip", "we", "us") collects when you use wordflip.ai and how we use it. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the service, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Billing details: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan and subscription status, never your full card number.
- Usage: how many words you process and when, so we can apply plan limits.
- Technical data: a one-way hashed version of your IP address (to prevent abuse) and a session cookie that keeps you logged in.
Your text
Text you submit is sent to our AI processing provider to produce your result, then returned to you. We do not store your submitted text or results on our servers, we do not sell or share them, and we do not use them to train AI models. Our provider processes text on our behalf only to deliver the result.
How we use information
- To provide and improve Wordflip.
- To apply plan limits and process payments.
- To send essential emails such as password resets and receipts.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run Wordflip: our web host, our AI processing provider, and Stripe for payments. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms. We don't use advertising cookies.
Data retention
We keep your account details while your account is open. Usage records are kept for up to 12 months. Ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them.
Children
Wordflip isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
